Elections to be held in Mașcăuți and Sărătenii Vechi
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has set May 17, 2026, as the date for the organization of new local elections for the position of mayor in the village of Mașcăuți, Criuleni district, and in the commune of Sărătenii Vechi, Telenești district.
The decision comes following the resignation requests submitted by the mayors of the two localities.
Previously, for May 17, 2026, the CEC had set the organization of new local elections in two other localities: the village of Costești and the commune of Ruseștii Noi in Ialoveni district.
