Former Moldovan interior minister gets status of suspect in two criminal files
Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - A former interior minister has got the status of suspect in two criminal files. He is accused of misrepresentation and illicit enrichment, charges brought against him following the raids made in more locations of the Chisinau city and other settlements on 29 June.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office (PG), the hearing of the former official took place today, in the presence of his lawyer.
During the searches carried out on this case, law-enforcers found and raised for investigation a string of documents and a device for stocking information. They were examined in the presence of the suspect and his lawyer.
Prosecutors continue the investigations on this case.
