Moldova-China partnership: scholarships, internships for physicians, students
Health Minister Emil Ceban today met Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Moldova Dong Zhihua, in order to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health field.
According to the Health Ministry, one of the main topics of discussion was the development of traditional Chinese medicine and integrative medicine by combining modern methods with traditional ones, for the benefit of patients.
The officials also examined opportunities for professional training for health specialists, students, physicians and resident physicians.
Among the measures discussed, there were initial and continuous training programmes, study scholarships and clinical internships in China, joint trainings, academic exchanges and skills’ development in traditional and integrative medicine.
Both sides emphasized the importance of boosting the institutional dialogue through visits and bilateral meetings between the health ministries, in order to identify new areas of cooperation.
