Moldova's Diaspora children can enroll in free Romanian language courses
Children aged between 10 and 18, who were born in Moldova and live abroad, will be able to learn Romanian free of charge through online courses organized by the Education and Research Ministry (MEC), in collaboration with the Diaspora Relations Bureau.
The lessons will be taught online by teachers from Moldova in an environment adapted to the participants’ age. The children will be divided into groups according to their age and level of Romanian language proficiency.
The course schedule will be established based on the participants’ availability, allowing them to attend the lessons regardless of the country in which they live.
Registration is free and can be completed by filling out the online form by October 25, 2026.
According to the MEC, the programme aims to help Diaspora children learn Romanian, discover the culture and traditions of their families’ country of origin, and maintain their connection with Moldova.
