VIDEO // Speaker congratulated teachers across country
Speaker Igor Grosu congratulated teachers, educators, instructors, and other employees in the education system across the country on International Day of Education marked annually on October 5.
“Dear professors, teachers, principals, librarians, psycho-pedagogues, speech therapists, educators, and all those employed in the education system, Happy Anniversary!” Igor Grosu said.
He thanked teaching staff for the work, patience, and dedication they demonstrate every day in educating and shaping new generations.
In his message, Igor Grosu also highlighted the importance of civic education. He expressed special appreciation for teachers who accept invitations to participate, together with their students, in activities organized in Parliament and other public institutions.
According to Igor Grosu, these experiences help young people better understand how state institutions function, learn about their rights and responsibilities, and understand the importance of civic involvement.
“May you have curious, active students eager to learn, and may your work always be appreciated and respected,” Igor Grosu wished.
World Teachers’ Day is marked annually on October 5. The date was established by UNESCO in 1994 and is dedicated to recognizing the role of teaching staff and their contribution to educating new generations.
