Moldovan soldiers attend mountain training in Romania
A group of soldiers from Dacia Motorized Infantry Brigade are taking part, between 9–20 February, in a mountain training camp held in Brădeț, Romania.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the exercises are organized jointly with troops from the 9th Mechanized Brigade “Mărășești” and aim to strengthen interoperability, as well as to facilitate the exchange of experience between the two military structures.
Over the two weeks, the Moldovan infantrymen are conducting movement and land navigation drills in rough terrain, applying survival techniques and carrying out tactical actions adapted to the mountainous environment.
The activity is conducted in accordance with the 2026 external activity plan of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army, as part of the international training and cooperation program.
