Over 51,000 medical leave certificates issued digitally in first month after portal’s launch
One month after its launch, the medical leave certificate portal has been used intensively, with over 51,000 certificates issued digitally. The data were made public by the Ministry of Health.
According to the Ministry, the implementation of the system has helped avoid tens of thousands of trips between doctors, employers and institutions, contributing to reduced bureaucracy and time savings. At the system level, hundreds of hours of administrative work have been eliminated.
The relevant authorities note that the portal is part of the process of digitalizing the healthcare system, aiming to improve the quality of services offered to citizens and to make the work of medical staff more efficient.
