Moldovan soldiers trained in multinational exercise in Germany
Chisinau, June 9 / MOLDPRES /- National Army servicemen participate in Combined Resolve XVII exercise in Hohenfels, Germany on 22 May -13 June.
According to the rector-commander of the Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy, Colonel Anatolie Bucuci, over 30 officers, sergeants and students from the institution were deployed to the exercise.
The Moldovan servicemen perform planning, guarding, patrol, escort, medical support and evacuation missions jointly with the subunits of the partner nations.
The exercise aims to jointly prepare the military for international missions and to increase the level of interoperability of the subunits of the National Army with those of the partner countries.
Over 5,000 soldiers from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Northern Macedonia, Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Poland, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania and the United States are being trained in the Combined Resolve XVII exercise.
The National Army of the Republic of Moldova has been participating in the Combined Resolve exercises since 2012.
