
Moldovans insuring themselves individually can already buy health insurance policy for 2023
Chisinau, 30 December /MOLDPRES/ - The people who insure themselves individually can pay, starting from 29 December, the mandatory health insurance premium in fixed sum for 2023.
According to National Health Insurances Company (CNAM), the citizens who pay the insurance policy in the first three months of the year will further benefit from facilities at the payment of the premium in fixed sum. The premium’s size varies from 1,014 lei (about 51 euros) up to 4,056 lei, depending on the category to which the person belongs: 1,014 lei will be paid by the owners of farmlands; 1,622 lei – by private people who carry out independent activities in the trade sector; 2,028 lei – by founders of individual enterprise; 4,056 lei – by unemployed people who exercise the professions of mediator, notary, bailiff, judicial expert, interpreter, authorized translator or manager, who got certificate, licence or authorization in the way established by law, the people who independently exercise the profession of family physician.
The full value of the insurance premium in fixed sum for 2023 is of 12,636 lei. This sum will be paid only by those who do not insure themselves independently in the term established by the legislation – till 31 March.
The premium in fixed can be paid through the MPay governmental service of electronic payments, commercial banks or at post offices’ desks.
