Chisinau, June 1 / MOLDPRES /- On International Children Day, the Legislature presented the most important changes in legislation and initiatives to increase the protection of children and families, launched or implemented in 2022.
Among the changes implemented are the reform of the welfare program, which doubles the number of families with children included in the program as a result of increasing the guaranteed minimum monthly income for each child and the income eligibility ceiling for employees with children.
Another law that supports families with children is the one that provides for the arrangement of nurseries for employees' children at work. Also, the possibility of using the childcare leave by both parents.
The notion of bullying was introduced in the Education Code. The phenomenon has been recognized as a form of psychological violence, and now measures are being developed to prevent and combat this phenomenon in schools.
