Over 6,600 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova
Chisinau, April 26 / MOLDPRES /- On 24 February -26 April, the Bureau of Migration and Asylum received 6,644 asylum applications.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 398,041 Ukrainian citizens entered the territory of our country. About 298,329 were in transit alone, and 91,743 Ukrainians remained.
Currently, there are 95,541 foreign nationals on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of which 48,413 are minors (Ukrainian and other nationals who have entered the MD-AU segment).
