
Over 800 young people to be conscripted to Moldova's National Army
Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - Over 800 recruits will be conscripted for season military service on the period 25-28 July.
According to the head of the Centre for Management of Resources and Mobilization and of the National Army’s strength, colonel Octavian Druta, 830 recruits will be conscripted.
After distribution in military units, the young recruits will attend a course of initial training at a shooting range during four weeks, after which they will be sworn to their colours, according to Druta.
On 19-20 July, over 800 who fulfilled their military service during 12 months were put in reserve.
Citizens’ conscription to military service is made according to the law on young people’s training for the defence of the Motherland. The season military service in the National Army lasts 12 months.
