Prosecutors make searches at home of former Moldovan president
Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - Anticorruption prosecutors make searches at the home of the former president of Moldova, Petru Lucinschi today afternoon. The press officer of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, Catalina Bogonos, has confirmed the information for MOLDPRES.
According to Bogonos, prosecutors have already heard the former state official in the file on the bank fraud. Lucinschi has the status of suspect.
The former Moldovan president, Petru Lucinschi, publicly denied his involvement in the bank fraud.
