Unidentified drone briefly crossed airspace of Moldova

An unidentified drone entered the airspace of the Republic of Moldova without authorization this morning, from the direction of Ukraine, and left the national territory after approximately two minutes, amid the massive attacks carried out by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, including in Odesa region.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the drone crossed the state border at 08:56, from the direction of Biliaivka, Ukraine, heading toward the village of Tudora in the Republic of Moldova.

At 08:58, the aircraft left the national airspace from the direction of Palanca, heading toward Lake Davidove Liman, Ukrainian territory.

The Air Operations Service continues to monitor the airspace in coordination with national authorities and partners to ensure the safety of the population.

During the night and morning of September 17, several regions of Ukraine, including Odesa, were subjected to a massive attack involving Russian drones and missiles.
