Urban Bus Park in Moldovan capital completed with eight Solaris Urbino 18 buses
Chisinau, Oct. 12 /MOLDPRES/- Eight Solaris Urbino 18 buses, from the total batch of 16 units reached Chisinau.
According to the local authorities, it is about high-capacity articulated buses Solaris Urbino 18 with a length of 18 meters, from Sweden, which will replace the most requested routes in the municipality of Chisinau.
The used buses were produced in 2012. They are equipped with a low floor, a ramp for wheelchair access, an air conditioning system and have the Euro 5 ecological class.
The price of a transport unit, which includes delivery, is 41.9 thousand euros. Another eight buses will arrive in Chisinau at the end of next week. All 16 Solaris Urbino 18 buses will be put into circulation in December, after all technical tests have been carried out.
In 2021, the Urban Bus Park was equipped with 158 transport units, which completely replaced the company's rolling stock.
