VIDEO // Road workers carry out anti-skid operations to ensure road traffic in Moldova

Road workers are carrying out anti-skid operations, spreading anti-icing material and clearing the roadway of snow. The interventions are taking place on road sections in the northern, central and southern regions of Moldova.

These include sections in Causeni – G119, G113; Rascani – M5; Cantemir – G131; Ialoveni – G105 and G106; Ocnita – R11; Briceni – M5; Vulcanesti – R32, M3 and Ceadar-Lunga – R36, G129.

At present, in some areas such as Ocnita, Donduseni, Taraclia, Giurgiulesti and Otaci, snowfall continues.

According to operative data, the National Roads Administration (AND) has received seven notifications via the 112 emergency service, four calls from the National Public Security Inspectorate and two calls from citizens. All notifications are being handled promptly, with local officials informed and the necessary interventions and measures undertaken.
