Moldova won record number of medals at European Weightlifting Championship

Chisinau, August 23 /MOLDPRES/- At the European Weightlifting Championship, reserved for the U15 and U17 categories, held from August 10-18 in Razyn, Poland, the national weightlifting team of the Republic of Moldova won 13 medals and registered a record number of medals at a championship of such scope, the Ministry of Education and Research (MEC) has reported.

29 countries participated in the contest, in two age categories. The Republic of Moldova was represented by ten athletes.
