National Grape Festival in Cimișlia cancelled
Chisinau, August 12 /MOLDPRES/- National Grape Festival, traditionally expected in Cimişlia on 18 September has been cancelled. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) made the statement yesterday.
"The National Grape Festival, traditionally hosted by Cimișlia district, scheduled for September 18, is cancelled. The decision was taken by the administration of the Cimișlia district due to the unfavorable evolution of the epidemiological situation and the increase in cases of illness with COVID-19 in the district", MAIA indicates.
The first Grape Festival was organized on 8 September 2013 by the Cimişlia District Council and the relevant ministry.
