CSP gives green light: Acting Prosecutor General passes external evaluation
The Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) today approved the report of the Prosecutors Evaluation Commission, which found that Acting Prosecutor General Alexandru Machidon meets the integrity criteria provided by law. The decision was adopted unanimously.
According to CSP member Aliona Nesterov, the Commission examined several aspects related to the ethical and financial integrity of the prosecutor and concluded that he fully meets the ethical and financial integrity criteria.
The evaluation report was submitted to the CSP on March 24.
Alexandru Machidon was appointed Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Moldova in late May 2025.
