National road in southern Moldova rehabilitated
Chisinau, Nov. 24 /MOLDPRES/- The State Road Administration (ASD) announced today the completion of the rehabilitation works on the national road M3 Chişinău - Giurgiulesti, Sector 1, after a reception committee established that they are being carried out in full and at a high level of quality.
According to the institution, for the residents of Chirsova, Congaz, and Svetlîi villages of Găgăuzia, as well as those from the Taraclia district, the villages of Balabanu, Aluatu and Chirilovca, the rehabilitated road sector means access to households, pedestrian crossings, especially in the area of schools and kindergartens, the construction and reconstruction of bus stations, all of which are executed according to the rules in force. "Residents will walk on a road designed and executed according to European standards", indicates ASD.
The rehabilitation of this sector is part of an extensive project for the rehabilitation of the M3 road, which leads to Giurgiulești. Analyzing the entire M3 route Chisinau - Comrat - Giurgiulești - the border with Romania as a strategic point to unite the capital with the port of Giurgiulesti, the State Road Administration claims that it has made every effort to open the given section to traffic on certain sectors by the end of this year.
