Moldovan fine artist celebrates 80th birth anniversary
Chisinau, 15 May /MOLDPRES/- Painter and professor Petru Jireghea, Master in Art is celebrating 80th birthday today.
The head of the Fine Artists Union of Moldova, Dumitru Bolboceanu, said that Petru Jireghea is a distinct personality in fine arts.
He participated in the editions of the Exhibition-Contest Salons of Moldova (Romania - Republic of Moldova). He is a participant in several international creative camps: Senej (Moscow), Dzintari (Riga), Tescani (Romania) etc. He has organized personal exhibitions in the country and abroad.
His works are purchased in the collections of the National Art Museum of Moldova, the Art Museum in Bacau, the Art Museum in Magnitogorsk, Moscow, in private collections in Russia, Germany, Israel, India, Austria etc.
He is a member of the Fine Artists Union of Moldova. In 1999, he was awarded the honorary title of Master of Arts.
He was awarded the Prize of the Museum Complex Iulian Antonescu in Bacău.
