Moldovan singer, choreographer celebrates 60th birth anniversary

Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/- Choreographer and singer of popular music Nicolae Gribincea, teacher and folklorist, founder and artistic leader of Plăieșii band, People's Artist celebrates 60th birth anniversary today.


He has performed in Romania, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries.

He is a laureate of the Gheorghe Asachi Prize of the Ministry of Education (1990), of the Special Prize Ethnos of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova (1994).

He was awarded the honorary titles Master of Art (2010), People's Artist (2020) and Labor Glory Order (2014).
