ANRE: Latest fuel price increases due to dynamics of Platts quotes

Chisinau, June 12. /MOLDPRES/- The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) announced today that the latest increases in fuel prices are exclusively due to the dynamics of Platts quotations for oil-derived products on international exchanges, an indicator that is at the basis of the current method of establishing price levels.

According to ANRE, after a long period of decline, there is currently a slight increase in the value of Platts quotations, a fact that is reflected in a daily price appreciation of around 0.02 -0.09 lei per liter.

Since the beginning of the current year, the petrol price has increased by 0.38 lei/liter or (+1.6%), and the diesel price has decreased by 4.33 lei/liter or (-18.32%).

For tomorrow, June 13, the maximum retail prices of the main standard petroleum products are set at 23.70 lei/liter for COR 95 petrol and 19.31 lei/liter - for standard diesel.
