This is a unique moment in the relations between brothers, which needs to be marked, and we want to mark it at the height of a sentiment and an experience that such an event deserves," said Irinel Ionel Scriosteanu.
The Romanian official also said that the authorities' goal was that, by 2030, not only will the five bridges over the Prut be completed, but also the possibility for each district of Moldova to have at least one bridge across the Prut towards Europe.
"Towards the Europe, of Moldova is a part and in entity of which we need to find ourselves, as they said in Chisinau, in 2028 – 2029 at the latest," Irinel Ionel Scriosteanu added.
