Customs Service reported revenues of over 644 million lei last week
Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/- On 20- 26 September, the Customs Service's revenues to the state budget amounted to over 644 million lei, up by 30% than the established budget burden.
According to data, in early September, 2 billion 321 million lei have been collected from the state budget, up by 31% compared to the budget burden and 35% compared to revenues in the same period of 2020.
During the last week, 13 245 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport was 64,593 crossings. The busiest customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 15,971 and 11,333 crossings, respectively.
Regarding the fight against fraud, during the period covered, 202 violations of the customs legislation were found and fines in the amount of over 152 thousand lei were applied. The most frequent violations refer to the exceeding of the term on the territory of the Republic of Moldova of the means of transport with foreign numbers, declared by action
