Expo Business Moldova 2020 inaugurated today
Chisinau, 15 December /MOLDPRES/- Expo Business Moldova 2020 is the first virtual exhibition, inaugurated today on a new specialized portal, launched by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Republic of Moldova. The initiative is a response to companies interested in news about products and services in the country and abroad under the pandemic when many exhibition events can not be held.
Expo Business Moldova 2020 with the slogan Trust our products is the first event of this kind. We will organize it with the support of national and international partners. This method is unique in the Republic of Moldova, which will allow us to organize the activities we have proposed this year ", CCI head Sergiu Harea said.
He said that several companies were registered at the event from different economic sectors - winemaking, industry, IT, services, etc.
Vitalie Tarlev, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, said "this is a unique event, which validates the new realities in the pandemic context." "This type of project will allow the presence of entrepreneurs on the market, or digital can help in this regard."
The event took place at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM). "The Chamber of Commerce and Industry has always been the promoter of projects that have gained fertile ground in the business environment. They aim to promote Moldovan products, as well as the economy as a whole, which is very important because our products are less known in the world. At the same time, online promotion will catch us well after we get out of the pandemic, because the world is changing and modernizing ", ASEM rector Grigore Belostecinic said.
Belostecinic received the Excellence Award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova for mutually beneficial support and collaboration between the two institutions.
The concept of the platform was initiated by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is financially supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation within the Project Optimum - Opportunities through Technologies and Innovation in Moldova, carried out by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation in partnership with CCI.
Also, the CCI signed a cooperation agreement with the Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Stock Exchanges of Turkey. The signing of the document aims to support and promote the business environment in both countries.
