Maib announces that all banking applications and services available, technical issues resolved

Commercial bank Maib announces that all applications and services are available. The clarifications were made after some banking services and applications experienced operational issues this evening.

Thus, Maib reported a series of technical problems with the banking infrastructure, with deficiencies noted in the POS terminal network, maibank and maib business applications, as well as BankFlex.

Delays in receiving SMS messages with login OTPs for the maibank application and transaction confirmation were also recorded. Moreover, e-commerce and the self-service terminal network encountered some service availability issues.

'The malfunctions were generated by the activation of certain protection systems that affected the operation of the maib network,' announced the banking institution.

In the context of technical deficiencies, Maib suggested that beneficiaries use the biometric option for transaction confirmation.
