Minimum wage to be unified in all institutions in Moldova
Chisinau, August 12 /MOLDPRES/- Starting from 1 September 1 the minimum wage will be unified in all institutions in the country. The promulgation decree and the adopted amendments to the Wages Law and the Labor Code were published today in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the document, the changes will ensure a guaranteed minimum amount of the equivalent salary in any public institution, private company or self-managed entity.
The published changes will promote fair wage increases in state-owned, state-owned and monopolistic enterprises. Thus, the remuneration for the work of employees in the units, regardless of the type of ownership and the form of legal organization, would not be lower than the minimum wage per country established by the Government.
