Moldova's Customs Service collects over 837 million lei in last week
The Customs Service in the last week collected over 837.2 million lei, which represents 102.1% fulfillment of the control figure for the concerned period.
During this period, individuals brought in goods whose customs value exceeds the non-taxable limit, with payments of about 25.4 million lei collected, accounting for three per cent of the total amount. The money collected from taxpayers is paid directly into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development and social projects.
Also, on the reference period, 11,926 customs declarations were processed and the flow of transport means amounted to 82,797 crossings. The most transited customs posts remain Leuseni and Sculeni, with 17,172 and 13,927 crossings, respectively.
Since the beginning of 2026, the Customs Service has collected about 19.3 billion lei to the state budget, which represents 102.8 per cent fulfillment of the control figure.
