Moldovan authorities, agricultural protesters meet for negotiations
Chisinau, Nov. 24 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea said at today's briefing that starting at 1:00 p.m., the authorities will meet with the protesters in the center of the capital, to find reasonable solutions for the situation.
"There is a protest of farmers on the Great National Assembly Square in the center of the capital. At 1:00 p.m., we are going to negotiate in order to find reasonable solutions to overcome the problems, as we did with other associations in the branch", said Bolea.
Several farmers came yesterday with tractors to the center of the capital to take part in a protest action, organized by the Farmers Force Association and the National Federation of Farmers. The participants in the action were dissatisfied with the situation in the agricultural field. At the same time, the farmers requested the support of the authorities to identify solutions to their problems.
