“On June 4, 2026, the first Moldova – European Union investment conference will take place, an event dedicated exclusively to investments that will be made in Moldova. During this conference, investment announcements are planned, as well as the signing of contracts, agreements, memoranda and letters of intent on behalf of the European Union, the government of Moldova, entrepreneurs, companies of Moldova and from the European Union, as well as from our development partners at the level of international financial institutions, who will make the necessary announcements,” said Eugeniu Osmochescu at a news conference.

At the same time, the event will host discussions on priority sectors of the Moldovan economy, such as agriculture, energy, infrastructure, industry, innovation and the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.

“We will analyze what the opportunities and challenges are and what we need to do. Our idea is to make all authorities of Moldova responsible for acting towards a common goal – the economic convergence of Moldova with the one of the European Union, because we also want to prepare the private sector of Moldova to be ready to integrate into the European Union,” said Deputy Prime Minister Eugeniu Osmochescu.

The event aims to become a platform for analyzing strategic investment opportunities between the European Union and Moldova.

The conference will bring together companies, decision-makers, representatives of the European Commission and financial institutions for high-level discussions, round tables, sectoral pitching sessions and B2B meetings.

The conference is organized by the government of Moldova and the European Commission, with the support of the Investment Agency and the Economic Development and Digitization Ministry, and marks one year since the launch of the Growth Plan for Moldova.
