Moldovan leu appreciates against main currencies
Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/ - The single European currency on 18 September will cost 19.56 lei and the U.S. dollar – 16.77 lei, according to the official exchange rates posted by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) today.
Thus, the euro will cheapen by 0.09 lei, the dollar – by 0.02 lei, after the exchange rate of these currencies have recorded a slight increase in the last days.
The Romanian leu will depreciate by 0.02 lei to a quotation of 4.21 lei.
According to BNM’s data, the Ukrainian hryvnia will stay at 0.59 lei and the Russian rouble – at 0.24 lei.
