Over 3,500 tons of gasoline and diesel imported in Moldova on Tuesday
Almost 3,000 tons of diesel and 550 tons of gasoline were imported into the Republic of Moldova on Tuesday, March 31. The information was presented today by the Ministry of Energy.
Thus, the stocks amounted to 16 days of consumption for liquefied petroleum gas, 15 days of consumption for gasoline, and 7 days of consumption for diesel.
The authorities encouraged car owners to use petroleum products rationally and to avoid purchases that are not strictly necessary.
The Government declared an energy alert on March 4 for a period of 60 days in connection with the external situation. According to the authorities, the measure is preventive in nature and aims to protect domestic consumption and maintain the stability of the energy system.
