
Revenues of 67.9 billion lei accumulated in public budget
Chisinau, Dec. 10 / MOLDPRES /- In January -November revenues of 67.9 billion lei were accumulated in the national public budget, increasing by 12.4 billion lei compared to the same period last year.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the expenditures amounted to 70.9 billion lei, which, compared to the same period of 2020, are higher by 7.2 billion lei. The execution of the national public budget ended with a deficit in the amount of 3.0 billion lei, and the balances of funds in the accounts of the component budgets of the national public budget were 12.1 billion lei.
During the reference period, the state budget revenues amounted to 43.0 billion lei, registering an increase of 8.8 billion lei compared to the same period last year.
Revenues administered by the State Fiscal Service reached 17.7 billion lei, 2.7 billion lei more than in the respective period of 2020, and revenues administered by the Customs Service amounted to 25.5 billion lei, being in increase by 5.4 billion lei compared to the same period last year.
"State budget expenditures were executed in the amount of 46.8 billion lei, increasing by 3.3 billion lei compared to the same period of 2020. The execution of the state budget ended with a deficit in the amount of 3.8 billion lei, and the balances of the funds in the state budget accounts constituted 8.0 billion lei ”, indicates the quoted source.
The Ministry of Finance claims that it has ensured the fulfillment of all payment commitments for the months of January - November of the current year, all payments being fully financed.
"According to the Public Finance Law and the budgetary-fiscal responsibility, the priority is to honor the obligations to serve the external and internal state debt, as well as the payment of salaries, pensions and social benefits. We also reiterate that there are no risks of non-execution approved in the budget, given the fact that the budget has sufficient financial resources and ensures a prudent management of liquidity at all times ", the ministry said.
