Moldagrotech 2026 exhibition culminated with the official recognition of the most innovative technical solutions designed for the agricultural sector of the Republic of Moldova. In a festive atmosphere, the International Exhibition Center “Moldexpo”, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), held the awards ceremony for this year’s edition of the “Useful for Moldova” contest.
The competition aimed to identify and promote equipment that can genuinely contribute to modernizing farms, increasing productivity, and adopting cutting-edge technologies, such as digital solutions and No-Till systems.
Grand Prize: Grand Prix for HORSCH technology
The central moment of the ceremony was the announcement of the grand winner of the 2026 edition. The Grand Prix trophy, accompanied by a First-Degree Diploma from the Ministry of Agriculture and a cash prize of 5,000 lei, was awarded to the company SERVIMIXT - AGRO LLC. The jury appreciated the outstanding performance of the HORSCH SPRINTER 6SL precision seeder, considered a benchmark machine for efficient field operations.
Excellence in agricultural machinery, implements and equipment
In the category dedicated to mechanization, several companies were rewarded with First-Degree Diplomas and prizes of 3,000 lei each for equipment that responds to current environmental and efficiency challenges: DIAZTECH LLC for the No-Till Fendt Momentum 16 seeder; OZONTEH LLC for a complex set intended for small and micro farms (multifunctional loader, feed mixer and inter-row cultivator); CARVIDON SERVICE LLC for the self-propelled animal feed mixer wagon BVL V-MIX Drive Maximus PLUS; PROTEH-AGRO LLC for the No-Till Bourgault FMS-872 seeder. Second- and Third-Degree distinctions went to the companies JM INVEST GROUP, APROCOMTEH LLC, ELIT-TEHNICA LLC (for the JCB telescopic loader) and ATC-AGROTEH COMERȚ SA (for the universal mower KSU 1).
Innovation of the future: digital solutions and smart technologies
A major area of interest this year was the section dedicated to the digitalization of agriculture (IoT, AI and drones), where the award ranking was as follows: First Place: ELIT-TEHNICA LLC for the Hardi AEON trailed sprayer, a machine that integrates advanced monitoring systems. Second Place: CARVIDON-TRADE LLC for the mobile laboratory for agrochemical soil analysis, essential for precision fertilization. Third Place: DRON ASSISTANCE LLC for the latest-generation agricultural drone “DJI Agras T100”, reflecting the rising trend of automating plant protection treatments.
Support of the authorities and professionalism in evaluation
The organizers extended special thanks to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry for its constant support of this landmark event. They also emphasized the thoroughness of the evaluation commission, whose expertise ensured a fair selection process based on strict technical parameters and on the real usefulness of the machines for the specific soil conditions and farm structures in the Republic of Moldova.
These awards represent not only recognition of the commercial performance of distributors, but also a clear indicator of the direction in which Moldovan agriculture is heading: innovation, digitalization and sustainability, according to Andrian Digolean, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture.
