VIDEO // Citizens can check in real time gasoline and diesel prices and stocks of fuel stations across country

Citizens can check in real time the gasoline and diesel prices and stocks of fuel stations across the country. This can be done by accessing e-Carburanti platform on the official website of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE).

ANRE Director General Alexei Taran explained how to use the tool, emphasizing its usefulness in the context of the current situation on the fuel market.

“Dear consumers! During this period there is an increased demand for petroleum products at fuel stations. Thus, in some cases, the stations may run out of stock. We remind you that ANRE has implemented specialized software for monitoring fuel stocks and prices. On anre.md website you can access e-Carburanti platform, where you can see in real time the availability of stocks and the prices displayed by these stations,” said Alexei Taran.

The platform offers quick access to transparent price information, helping to properly inform consumers and increase transparency on the petroleum products market.

The Ministry of Energy announced today that imports of gasoline and diesel continue normally, and the institution is closely monitoring the situation on the petroleum products market and, together with the competent authorities, is ready to intervene to ensure consumers have the necessary fuels.

According to data presented in the morning, current fuel stocks cover 22 days of consumption for gasoline, 11 days for diesel, and 12 days for LPG.

The Government declared an alert state in the energy sector on 4 March for a period of 60 days, in connection with the external situation. According to the authorities, the measure is preventive and aims to protect domestic consumption and maintain the stability of the energy system.
