Starting today, citizens can submit files to receive grants under Casa Verde Program
Starting today, citizens can submit files to receive grants of up to 200,000 lei for home energy efficiency works. The funding is offered under a new call of Casa Verde Program, which was launched yesterday in Chișinău.
Beneficiaries can obtain funding of up to 50%, within the limit of 200,000 lei, for home insulation works, modernization of the heating system, installation of heat pumps, photovoltaic panels with storage batteries, and other measures that help reduce energy bills.
"Starting today, at 09:00, the call for submitting applications under Casa Verde Program is open. Beneficiaries can obtain funding of up to 50%, within the limit of 200,000 lei, for home insulation works, modernization of the heating system, installation of heat pumps, photovoltaic panels with storage batteries, and other measures that help reduce energy bills," announced director of the National Center for Sustainable Energy (CNED) Ion Muntean.
The budget allocated for the next call is 200 million lei. The allocation of funds will follow the principle of territorial distribution. Thus, 30% of the available budget may be allocated to projects submitted by applicants from the municipality of Chișinău, and 70% to projects submitted by applicants from other administrative-territorial units of the Republic of Moldova.
In the 2026 edition of Casa Verde Program, eligibility criteria have been adjusted to allow families without children to apply for funding. Thus, all households that meet a series of criteria may apply. Specifically, the applicant is a natural person and owns the property for which funding is requested; the dwelling is registered in the Real Estate Register as a single-family house or a single-family house under construction, with updated technical documentation; there are no outstanding taxes or fees; the applicant has not previously benefited from a CNED grant.
At this stage, homes with the status of temporary accommodation buildings, holiday homes, or other properties intended for occasional use will not be eligible. This distinction allows for efficient use of funds and support for homes with real and constant energy consumption.
Registration is done exclusively online via the platform feerm.md, where the application conditions can also be found.
