Strengthening Moldovan-British cooperation on agenda of discussions between Finance Minister and Ambassador Fern Horine

Opportunities for expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields, including investment projects and trade exchanges were discussed during a meeting between Finance Minister Andrian Gavriliță and Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Fern Horine.

Officials discussed strengthening Moldovan-British cooperation, focusing on supporting economic growth and institutional modernization.

The dialogue also focused on the Finance Ministry's priorities for the upcoming period, such as developing an efficient and predictable tax system, accelerating digitalization processes, modernizing the customs system, and creating a business-friendly environment.

"The importance of investing in human capital through policies that support the labor market, education, and youth perspectives, as key elements for sustainable economic growth, was also emphasized," announced the Ministry of Finance.

Gavriliță appreciated the UK's support for economic reforms, highlighting its contribution to promoting investments, attracting strategic capital, and supporting innovation-oriented initiatives.

The sides expressed willingness to deepen bilateral cooperation and harness common opportunities to strengthen economic resilience.
