Wines of Moldova to be appreciated by international, local experts at national competition held in Chisinau
The national competition, Wine of Moldova, will be organized in Chisinau, on December 4-5, 2025. The wines will be evaluated by a jury composed of international and local experts.
The event is organized by the National Office for Vine and Wine, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, in accordance with international competitions’ rules.
According to the organizers, the event will highlight the most representative wines produced under the national brand, Wine of Moldova. Remarkably good, and will strengthen their positioning both on the domestic market and on international ones.
This year's edition has a special character, as it is organized in the context of a year marked by global recognition. Moldovan wine was appreciated at two of the most prestigious international events in the field: the 46th World Congress of Vine and Wine and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, thus confirming the prestige and competitiveness of local wines.
The competition represents a key element of the annual programme of the National Office for Vine and Wine, an institution that has the mission to promote the national brand, Wine of Moldova. Remarkably good, locally and internationally, as well as to support the presence of winemakers at the most important specialized competitions and exhibitions.
Last year, the third edition of the national competition, Wine of Moldova, brought 90 medals to the country's wineries.
