The Royal House of Romania will continue to support Moldova on its path toward European integration and the implementation of modernization projects. Statements to this effect today were made at a meeting between Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu.

The officials praised the close friendship between Moldova and Romania and the fruitful cooperation in joint projects in economy, administration, education, culture, and sustainable development.

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu expressed gratitude for Romania's consistent support offered for Moldova. He said: "Moldova continues to count on the support of the Royal House of Romania, including in European capitals, for our European integration aspirations. Citizens on both sides of the Prut River benefit when we build bridges together in education, research, culture, healthcare, social or humanitarian fields."

The PM highlighted the success of the Moldovan-Romanian economic forum, held in Chisinau under the patronage of the Royal House. The event brought together over 500 entrepreneurs from Romania and Moldova, local officials and business associations, creating a solid platform for exchanging ideas, launching investment partnerships and joint projects in digitization, advanced agriculture, or the green economy.

The prime minister expressed gratitude to the Royal House for the initiatives launched in Moldova in the field of education: the annual King Michael and Queen Anna scholarships for two students each from the Technical University of Moldova and the State University of Moldova, as well as the patronage of the Royal House offered to the King Michael I Theoretical Lyceum from Cimiseni, Criuleni district.Additionally, the Royal House of Romania annually organizes an event dedicated to Moldova at the Elisabeta Palace, aimed at bringing people from both sides of the Prut River closer together.
