Moldovan cabinet appoints new director of Medicine and Medical Devices Agency
Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today appointed Dragos Gutu as director of the Medicine and Medical Devices Agency. The new director is expert in the business management sector, management of projects and teams, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
During 2016-2018, Dragos Gutu was commercial director of MENA/CIS (North Africa, Middle East and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)), in charge of the working out and implementation of the regional commercial strategy (in 34 countries), within GlaxoSmithKline Turkey (Istanbul). On the period January 2015-April 2016, he acted as director general (for Kazakhstan and Central Asia/Mongolia) at the same company. On the period April 2013 – January 2015, Gutu was competent with the elaboration and implementation of the strategies of promoting the portfolio of products and launch of new products at GlaxoSmithKline Russia.
Dragos Gutu graduated from the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1997 and finished the Chicago University, USA, Booth School of Business, in 2008.
