
Moldovan deputy premier congratulates graduates of Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of Armed Forces
Chisinau, 25 June /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Deputy Prime Minister Olga Cebotari today participated, along with President Maia Sandu, state officials, the Defence Ministry’s leadership, teachers of the Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of Armed Forces, as well as parents, relatives and friends of graduates, in a festive ceremony on the graduation of the 26th series of students from the Academy, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
„This event is a proof of excellence in the military and patriotic education, which covered an ascendant way in the promotion of high values of the national military culture, moral: spirit of sacrifice, devotion, dignity, honour, through which leaders in the defence sector assert themselves,’’ Olga Cebotari said.
Also, the acting deputy prime minister wished success ‘’in the professional training of defenders of the national sovereignty, the state’s independence and unity, Moldova’s territorial integrity,’’ and expressed gratitude to the graduates’ families, who backed them during the academic years.
This year, 45 graduates of the Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of Armed Forces received graduate diplomas and the rank of lieutenant; 21 out of all graduates are at the specialty of leadership of infantry subunits, 12 graduates – at the specialty of leadership of artillery subunits and 12 graduates – at the specialty of leadership of the communication and informatics subunits.
The Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of Armed Forces is the only higher military education institution of Moldova, which supplies the National Army with highly qualified officers.
Starting from 1992 till present, 1,943 people have graduated from this academy.
