Moldovan government extends autonomy of Tracom Industrial Park, enhances its attractiveness for investors
The government has approved the extension of the autonomy of the Tracom Industrial Park. Amendments to this were approved at the government meeting.
Thus, the joint-stock company Tracom will be able to directly lease or grant superficies of public lands to the park's residents. This decision simplifies procedures for investors interested in greenfield projects or reconstructions in the park, removing administrative barriers and accelerating investments.
The amendments will contribute to enhancing the attractiveness of the Tracom Industrial Park as an investment platform, as it is one of the most important industrial centers from Chisinau.
The industrial parks of Moldova had 135 resident economic agents in the end of the last year. During 2013-2024, the number of employees in industrial parks significantly increased from 285 people in 2013 to 4,383 people in 2024. The total investment volume in industrial parks exceeded 4.2 billion lei.
