
Moldovan president attends opening of European Forum Alpbach
Chisinau, August 23 /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu participated yesterday in the opening of the European Forum Alpbach, together with Federal Chancellor of Austria Karl Nehammer, the presidential press service has reported.
"We discussed four aspects that I consider decisive for tomorrow's Europe: combating disinformation; strengthening energy security and accelerating the transition to green energy; the common fight against corruption and the expansion of the European Union's peace project for candidate countries. It is the project that can ensure peace and stability in Europe and can bring prosperity to everyone", emphasized Maia Sandu.
At the same time, the head of state mentioned in her message that only together we can build a strong and resilient Europe, which will be with all its citizens and with its founding values and principles.
