Moldovan president meets more pupils participants in Olympiads, awards them honorary diplomas
Chisinau, 13 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today discussed with more pupils, who had represented Moldova at international competitions: international Olympiads in physics and mathematics, informatics, chemistry, biology and at the international competition dedicated to the developers of the mobile applications, eICON World Contest, the presidential press service has reported.
In Japan and the United Arab Emirates, in Hungary and Switzerland, the knowledge and creativeness of our pupils were appreciated with medals and leading places. Under a decision by Moldova’s president, honorary diplomas were awarded to pupils Leo Sprincean, Nikita Chiosa, Timur Degteari, Bianca-Sofia Leahu, Alin Popescu, Daniela Grosu and Irina Grosu. The diplomas were handed for outstanding results at international competitions in 2023, got through much work, talent and tenacity, as well as for the promotion of Moldova’s image in the world. Honorary diplomas were also awarded to Veaceslav Guzun and Paisie Rusu, who finished the lyceum in 2023 and became students of universities from France and the Netherlands.
