Moldovan PM meets Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Prime Minister Vasile Tofan has met Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Moldova, based in Bucharest, Khalid Eid Alshammri.
The discussions focused on developing the bilateral relations, attracting Saudi investment and capitalizing on trade opportunities between the two countries.
The PM emphasized Moldova’s interest in attracting Saudi capital, particularly in agriculture and food-processing industries. In the context, the sides discussed also possibilities for increasing Moldovan exports, including agricultural products.
Ambassador Khalid Eid Alshammri expressed openness to promoting investment opportunities of Moldova among the Saudi business community, noting that this is one of the key goals of his mandate.
