Working visit by Government State Secretary for Reintegration to educational institutions in Coșnița
Government State Secretary for Reintegration Roman Roșca paid a working visit to educational institutions in the localities of Coșnița, Doroțcaia and Pîrîta, as well as to Ștefan cel Mare Theoretical Lyceum in Grigoriopol.
During the visit to Ion Creangă Theoretical Lyceum in Coșnița, aspects related to the institution’s activity and development were discussed. Currently, the lyceum has over 700 students, and their number is increasing. At the same time, the institution has been included in the Model Schools Network, which will allow, in the near future, the modernization of infrastructure and the creation of an educational environment adapted to modern education standards.
At the Theoretical Lyceum in Doroțcaia, the main problems faced by the institution were addressed, as well as the measures taken to improve study conditions. In this context, the implementation, through the National Reintegration Program, of the project to rehabilitate the institution’s electrical networks was mentioned.
A separate topic was the situation of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Theoretical Lyceum in Grigoriopol. The most pressing problem concerns the lack of its own premises, the institution being forced to carry out its activity in the building of the Theoretical Lyceum in Doroțcaia. Thus, for more than 20 years, students from Grigoriopol have been forced to commute to Doroțcaia in order to benefit from studies in the Romanian language.
At the Gymnasium in Pîrîta, the existing problems were discussed, with an emphasis on the building’s energy efficiency and ensuring adequate heating conditions during the cold season. It was mentioned that, in 2025, through the National Reintegration Program, 950 thousand lei were allocated for repair works on the roof, an investment that contributed to improving the conditions for the institution’s functioning and the conduct of the educational process.
The visit of the State Secretary for Reintegration aimed to identify the main needs of educational institutions located in the Security Zone and to assess the possibilities of support from the authorities in order to ensure modern and safe study conditions for students on both banks of the Dniester river.
