Ambassadors of Romania, Ukraine reaffirm support for Moldova's European path, sustainable peace in region

Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi has had meetings with Ambassador of Romania Cristian-Leon Turcanu and Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova Paun Rohovei.

During the meeting with the Romanian Ambassador, Cristian-Leon Turcanu, Minister Mihai Popsoi thanked Romania for its constant support in the process of Moldova’s European integration and for strengthening the strategic partnership based on the common cultural, linguistic and historical heritage.

In the discussions with Ukrainian Ambassador Paun Rohovei, the Moldovan diplomacy head addressed priorities of the bilateral cooperation and the common commitment for advancing the European path of both states. Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi reiterated the support of Moldova for a just and sustainable peace in Ukraine.

The two diplomats congratulated Minister Mihai Popsoi on his reappointment and wished him success in continuing his mandate.
