
Civil society's organization to monitor Moldovan parliament's work
Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Promo-LEX association will monitor the parliament’s work in the next four years.
The project titled, Democracy, Transparency and Responsibility, of the aforementioned association today was unveiled to competent people of the parliament’s secretariat, in the presence of Deputy Parliament Speaker Mihail Popsoi.
The monitoring will be made in several directions: decision-making transparency, electoral promises; assessing the way the plenary meetings are organized and carried out; the parliamentary commission’s work; parliamentary control; budgetary and administrative management.
Deputy Parliament Speaker Mihail Popsoi welcomed the initiative, as it is in line with the goals of the legislative body: to improve people’s access to the decision-taking process, to carry out an informed and prosperous society.
