Group of Moldovan National Army servicemen take part in training in Neamt county, Romania
A group of National Army servicemen on June 15-22 took part in training activities carried out at a watercourse training camp in the locality of Gâdinți, Neamt county, Romania.
According to the Defence Ministry, the training was organized in cooperation with Romanian military from the 15th Mechanized Brigade “Podu Înalt” and aimed at developing and improving the soldiers’ skills in practicing techniques, tactics and procedures specific to operations involving the forcing of watercourses.
During the exercises, the soldiers conducted drills on terrain observation, movement under tactical conditions and crossing watercourses, being trained for actions in complex environments.
“The training contributes to the development of interoperability, the strengthening of team spirit, the improvement of reaction capability and the enhancement of cooperation between servicemen of the National Army and the ones of the Romanian Army,” the institution emphasized.
The training was conducted in accordance with the current year’s joint activity plan between the “Moldova” Motorized Infantry Brigade and the 15th Mechanized Brigade “Podu Înalt”.
